Kara Kushnir LCSW

Approximately 75% of my clients have OCD/Anxiety disorders. Most of these are perinatal OCD or children/teens with OCD.

I am trained in ERP through the Cognitive Behavior Institute in Pennsylvania and have also pursued post-graduate training in perinatal OCD, working with anxiety disorders and OCD in children and adolescents. I am also trained in SPACE to support parents and EMDR for co-occurring trauma and OCD/anxiety. I am a PMH-C through Postpartum Support International.

I am a sibling to a woman with ASD and OCD and feel this life experience helps me working with individuals/families as it increases my understanding of how family systems are impacted by the condition.

I participate annually in trainings that support culturally competency and an understanding of working with diverse populations.
