Angela C.P. LaManna LCSW

Social Worker
133 Bon Air Ave
New Rochelle, New York 10804
Narrative of Services:

I have a general private practice in which I treat children, adolescents and adults. Patients with anxiety disorders constitute at least half of my practice. I am aware of the complications of infectious disease that cause OCD (PANDAS/PANS) and have successfully referred children for antibiotic therapy while treating for OCD with CBT/RP. My expertise includes educating and working with parents of children and teens afflicted with OCD. Since general anxiety plays a role in bringing on OCD symptoms, I use my other clinical skills to help patients lessen their anxious feelings.

Parenting Teens and Young Adults Group
The focus of this group will be learning more about OCD and the struggles to overcome it, techniques to stop interactive patterns which perpetuate OCD, techniques to create a positive family atmosphere, how to deal with the confusing and difficult feelings generated in parents by OCD in their children (no matter what age).
