Approximately 60–70% of my practice is dedicated to treating individuals with OCD. I specialize in evidence-based treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), with treatment individualized to each client’s symptoms, goals, and values. I also treat generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder. I provide individual psychotherapy to adults through in-person sessions in Washington, D.C., and teletherapy in MD, VA, and psypact states.
When clients present with OCD alongside co-occurring conditions, treatment is individualized based on the severity and impact of each concern. I use ERP as the primary evidence-based approach for OCD, and draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to address co-occurring anxiety, mood, and attention-related concerns. Treatment may address conditions concurrently or prioritize the symptoms causing the greatest impairment, depending on the client’s needs and goals.
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University and have treated OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) since 2019. I first received ERP training during my 2019–2020 graduate student practicum at the Capital Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CICBT). I returned to CICBT in 2022 for a postdoctoral fellowship that focused on evidence-based treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. Following my postdoctoral training, I remained at CICBT as a clinical psychologist through 2025. I now specialize in treating OCD and related anxiety disorders in my private practice.
