As a clinical psychologist and an expert in treating OCD, I specialize in treating anxiety disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I provide treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families. The evidence-based cognitive-behavioral techniques include Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), habit reversal techniques, cognitive therapy, relaxation techniques, and other coping techniques and tools.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have treated children and adults with OCD or OC-related disorders for over 15 years. I received my doctorate at the University of Maryland College Park with a focus on cognitive-behavioral treatment, and completed a pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at University of Maryland School of Medicine specializing in cognitive-behavioral treatment. I continued training in treating OCD and anxiety-related disorders at The Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center. I present at conferences (e.g., IOCDF, ADAA, TLC), have been featured in print, radio, and television media and published a book titled “Loving Someone with OCD”.
