Ashley Lanier-Pszczola LMFT
I offer individual CBT with exposure and response prevention for clients ages 9 and up with OCD or OCD spectrum disorders. At least half of my caseload falls into this category. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I integrate families/caregivers extensively into my work with children and teens. I can also provide family therapy for families looking for support when a family member has been diagnosed with OCD.
I treat Major Depressive Disorder using CBT and ACT.
I have received extensive on the job and professional training in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. Since joining Atlanta CBT, at least 50% of my caseload is typically OCD spectrum cases. I have attended consultation groups for OCD treatment through IOCDF and continue to engage in local consultation groups with OCD experts. I am registered to attend the Pediatric BTTI in December 2023.
I am gender and sexuality affirming for all ages, and have worked with a variety of individuals who identify as LGBTQ+.
I have experience with and deeply value working with clients from a variety of backgrounds. A cornerstone of my graduate training was extensive work on practicing therapy from a culturally sensitive lens – considering the relevance of ethnicity, race, gender, socioeconomic status, and culture for each client. This is something I carry into my current practice in order to respect and understand each client within their context.
