I am a practitioner offering individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as therapeutic support for parents via the SPACE protocol. I recently hired a part-time clinician offering night and weekend care. Approximately 90% of my clients are diagnosed with OCD and receive treatment for co-occurring diagnoses. My commitment to treating OCD includes intensive continued education, my own OCD therapy and regular consultation. My practice is dedicated to increasing treatment availability to patients in underserved communities while offering exposure treatment with particular focus in self compassion work.
In addition to the list above, I also treat the following with ACT and exposure therapy:
Separation Anxiety
Social Anxiety / Social Phobia
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Panic Disorder
PTSD
BFRBs
I am trained in ICBT, ACT, ERP, AutPlay, and EMDR. I specialize in supporting individuals and families who experience learning challenges, are gifted or identify as neurodivergent. I have worked in the social work field with children, teens, adults, caregivers and families since 2000. After 32 weeks of intensive consultation with the co-founder of the Center for Anxiety and Behavioral Therapy, I was awarded certification in OCD treatment in August 2022. In order to have obtained certification in OCD treatment, I was required to demonstrate competency in all facets of ERP with clients and treatment for primary OCD subtypes.
I have completed diversity and cultural competency trainings through Cherry Creek School District, Douglas County School District and Arapahoe County Department of Human Services in Colorado, USA, during my twenty-six years in the social work field. My employment with these agencies afforded me the opportunity to specialize with diverse populations with limited access to evidence based treatment interventions, services and supports.
