Narrative of Services:

The clinic where I currently practice treats a range of conditions using various approaches. I serve within this clinic as a CBT provider. Of my individual practice, approximately 70% of the individuals I work with are looking for help with OCD, anxiety, and related conditions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to OCD, I treat commonly co-occurring anxiety disorders (e.g., GAD, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder), PTSD, and insomnia using cognitive behavior therapy and evidence-based principles from third wave behavioral approaches (e.g., DBT, ACT). I treat other OCD spectrum disorders including skin picking and hair pulling using evidence-based therapies developed for these conditions (e.g., HRT, ComB).

Training Description:

I am a clinical psychologist and have worked with individuals with OCD and anxiety disorders since 2016. My experiences consist of behavior therapy specific coursework, conferences, and supervised training experiences. I was previously a therapist at the Montefiore Medical Center AOPD, Northwell OCD Center, and Hofstra University Anxiety and Depression Clinic. I completed a two year postdoctoral fellowship at The Reeds Center, a leading training and treatment center in evidence based therapies for OCD and related disorders.

Diversity Statement:

I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming space for all, recognizing the intersecting identities people bring to the therapy experience. I recognize that individual and systematic experiences with racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and other experiences with hate and discrimination often have stressful and traumatic effects on individuals.

I aim to practice cultural humility and believe that my work should be conducted from an open and curious perspective. I strive to consider the social and cultural contexts that shape human experiences and am committed to lifelong learning in this regard.
