My practice, Untangled OCD & Anxiety Specialists, is private-pay and exclusively focused on OCD, BFRBs, and related anxiety disorders. With the exception of early inpatient experience, my clinical career has centered on these areas, including PHP/IOP work and over six years at a dedicated OCD and anxiety specialty center. I treat all OCD subtypes using evidence-based approaches including ERP, I-CBT, CBT, ACT, and SPACE, working with clients ages 4 through adulthood. Treatment often involves family members and support systems, and I coordinate closely with other providers, including prescribers and schools, when helpful.
Many of my clients present with OCD alongside other conditions, and I treat these holistically rather than in isolation. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as ERP, CBT, ACT, and I-CBT, adapting my treatment plan to address how OCD interacts with co-occurring anxiety, ADHD, ASD, eating disorders, or mood disorders. Treatment often involves close coordination with prescribers, schools, or other providers when needed. My goal is always to address the full clinical picture, not just isolated symptoms, so treatment stays cohesive and responsive to each client’s needs.
I have approximately 8 years of experience treating OCD and related disorders. During my MSW internship at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital, I cross-trained in a PHP/IOP program dedicated to anxiety and OCD. I then spent over 6 years at a dedicated OCD and anxiety specialty center, where I received weekly, then biweekly, individual supervision, alongside ongoing weekly group consultation and case lectures. I am trained in ERP, I-CBT, CBT, ACT, SPACE, ComB, and HRT, treating OCD and related disorders across the lifespan, from young children through adults.
I am fluent in both English and Serbian and am able to provide treatment in either language. I welcome clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds and aim to provide culturally responsive care that accounts for how OCD and anxiety may present or be understood differently across cultures.
I am fluent in both English and Serbian, which allows me to provide culturally attuned care to Serbian-speaking clients and families. Through my graduate education and ongoing clinical work, I have treated clients from a range of cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds, and I approach each client’s presentation of OCD and anxiety with attention to how culture and family context shape symptoms, help-seeking, and treatment engagement.
