Carol A. Mathews, MD
Narrative of Services:
The OCD Clinic that I direct at UCSF started in 2007 and consists of evaluations, consultations, medication management, family therapy, and CBT. We see adults, adolescents, and children with OCD, Tourette Syndrome, and related disorders. We see approximately 50-75 new patients a year, and provide ongoing care for over 100 patients. The clinic also has a research focus, and research on the genetics, environmental contributors, epidemiology, and phenomenology of these disorders is ongoing. From 2002-2006, I directed the Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Program at UCSD. This clinic also provided evaluation, consultation, medication management, family therapy, psychoeducation, and group and individual therapy.
