I work with many individuals with OCD and related disorders (I have treated more than 50 individuals across the lifespan). I provide assessment for OCD and collaborate with external providers (e.g., medical providers, schools, etc.) and parents when working with children/youth.
Treatment of risk factors take priority and are first addressed. Treatment of other conditions comorbid with OCD is typically addressed with concurrent treatment. Barriers to treatment are identified and treated in order to make ERP accessible.
I have worked under supervision of a variety of Registered Psychologists in Alberta who treat OCD. I have attended two full virtual IOCDF 3 day conferences in 2020 and 2021. I have also completed the online Pediatric BTTI, among other webinars and smaller trainings.
I have taken many Indigenous cultural training for psychologists over the past 3-4 years. I have also taken a workshop on How to be an Anti-racist and Anti-Oppressive Practitioner.
