About 75% of my practice focuses on OCD, anxiety, or trauma. I frequently receive referrals when clients have not made progress in general therapy. I provide ERP and other evidence-based treatments for children, teens, and young adults, and involve parents in treatment when helpful. As a PSYPACT provider, I’m able to offer services to clients in more than 40 states.
I treat co-occurring disorders by first identifying which symptoms most interfere with effective ERP. I collaborate with clients and families to determine priorities and integrate support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, or other concerns into the treatment plan. When co-occurring symptoms impact OCD progress, I address those areas with evidence-based strategies while maintaining ERP as the core intervention.
My clinical focus on OCD began during internship and continued through postdoctoral training and my current practice. I completed the IOCDF Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and have trained in medical and academic settings such as the University of Minnesota and Children’s Hospital of Minnesota. I regularly treat children and adolescents from high-achieving families using ERP and related evidence-based approaches.
My clinical training took place in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, working with highly diverse communities. I tailor treatment to each family’s cultural values, beliefs, and preferred ways of engaging in therapy. My doctoral program was grounded in a feminist multicultural framework, emphasizing awareness of power, identity, and social context in the therapeutic relationship, and helping ensure culturally responsive, collaborative care.
