Narrative of Services:

I provide outpatient therapy to adults 18 and older. Approximately 70% of my clients are seeing me to treat their OCD. I treat OCD, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, phobias, and post traumatic stress disorder using evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure-based therapies such as exposure and response prevention (ERP). I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my use of ERP with clients and have also been training in the use of Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD. Additionally, I have been trained in using EMDR to treat trauma.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I provide treatment to individuals who may be experiencing OCD and co-occurring mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders. Treatment is organized following an assessment and tailored to the person based on their presentation.

Training Description:

I completed the IOCDF’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute, regularly attend national and regional OCD conferences for ongoing professional training and education, and am a member of several OCD specialist consultation groups that meet several times each month, including one led by a McLean Hospital clinical associate/Harvard Medical School lecturer. I have provided trainings to other mental health professionals to increase awareness and understanding of OCD and its treatment.

Diversity Statement:

In addition to graduate courses in multicultural counseling, I have regularly attended workshops and trainings in various aspects of multicultural competency through the American Counseling Association, Psychotherapy Networker Symposium, and additional training resources.
