Approximately 20% of my current practice involves treating individuals with primary OCD and OCD-related disorders. I also treat individuals who experience anxiety disorders and trauma-related disorders.
My current practice and the treatment I have provided to individuals, couples and families over the past 20 years has involved serving those from different cultural, ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds than my own. Additionally, I serve the LGBTQ+ community. Because I can only be effective as a counselor when I gain and maintain an understanding of cultures other than my own, I strive to continue my education in multicultural competency through regular trainings, readings, and an openness to learning about and from others. At its core, this is what drives my practice.

I have been providing treatment for OCD for the past five years and am BTTI trained through the IOCDF. I have also attended additional ERP workshops through the American Counseling Association. I am a current IOCDF professional member, a member of the American Counseling Association and the Mississippi Counseling Association.
In addition to graduate courses in multicultural counseling, I have regularly attended workshops and trainings in various aspects of multicultural competency through the American Counseling Association, Psychotherapy Networker Symposium, and additional training resources.
