Narrative of Services:
About 90% of my clients struggle with OCD (various subtypes), the remainder of my client base consist of individuals struggling with hair pulling and BDD.
Training Description:
I hold a Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have specialized training from the Philadelphia Behaviour Therapy Association and over five years clinical experience in working with individuals affected by Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I am also a member of the IOCDF and attend their yearly lecture series. My approach is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention, the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD. I have specialized training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (Marsha Linehan certification), CBT (Mclean Hospital), mindfulness practice and role-play.
Diversity Statement:

I have half Scottish and half Latina and work with folks from all different types of backgrounds. I have completed the San’yas: Indigenous Cultural training as part of my clinical growth in helping Indigenous populations.
