Narrative of Services:

I offer individual and family psychotherapy and the majority of my caseload has OCD, anxiety disorders, and/or substance use disorders. I frequently work with neurodiversity (especially ADHD and autism spectrum), and I have a lot of experience treating severe and complex presentations. I use exposure therapy (ERP) and CBT, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as the foundation for my work. I am direct and collaborative and work to help clients achieve lasting changes and thrive with OCD.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I do a through evaluation of all co-occuring psychiatric diagnoses. Treatment plan is individualized based on the specific case. I am experienced in treating OCD with current active addiction, ADHD, and anxiety disorders.

Training Description:

I have a strong background in CBT and ERP, and I was a teaching assistant for doctoral psychology students learning CBT. I conducted original dissertation research on training clinicians in exposure therapy for PTSD. I have attended a BTTI training and treated OCD consistently over the past 10 years. I’ve had ongoing supervision and training with expert clinicians. I also have OCD, I have worked hard to learn to live with it, and I have first hand experience in how life changing ERP treatment can be!

Diversity Statement:

I have had training throughout my career on cultural competency. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds, including LGBTQI+, kink/polyamory, and various religious, ethnic, and racial backgrounds.
