Narrative of Services:

Currently my practice is 80% children under 18 and 20% adults. I am currently working with two children that have an OCD diagnosis and I would like to increase this focus in my practice after I have completed the BTTI and feel more confident in my use of appropriate diagnostic measures and treatment methods.

Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes

Training Description:

I am an licensed mental health counselor and registered play therapist working in a private practice. I have been licensed since 2011 and the majority of my work is with children (ages 5 – 18 yoa) and families. I began working with OCD behaviors in 2010 as part of my clinical supervision and have since completed online trainings through IOCDF/Mass General Hospital and I’m attending the General BTTI in January 2018. I am also engaged with a clinical supervisor who completed the BTTI and has a very busy practice treating OCD behaviors.

Diversity Statement:

Diversity and multicultural competence is an area of interest to me – personally and professionally. In addition to my private practice work I also work in a community mental health clinic that provides mental health/substance use disorder treatment and parenting classes to pregnant and parenting women who are low income and struggling with homelessness or legal charges. Working with this population, clinical supervision, and annual cultural diversity trainings help me maintain an open mind and a sense of curiosity when working with individuals whose culture or upbringing is different from my own.
