Audrey Oakes, LPC

Counselor
Narrative of Services:

Bridge OCD therapy is exclusively dedicated to providing specialized OCD and ERP therapy for kids, teens, and young adults struggling with intrusive thoughts, compulsions, anxiety, and uncertainty. For individuals experiencing more severe symptoms, I offer the option of increased session frequency, including multiple sessions per week, when clinically appropriate.

Training Description:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a masters degree in counseling and I have experience working with clients with varying OCD presentations. I previously worked in a pediatric OCD IOP program where I gained extensive experience supporting children/teens and families navigating severe presentations of OCD.

I am actively involved in the OCD professional community as I have facilitated youth workshops at the annual OCD conference and online OCD teen conference.

Diversity Statement:

Through my experience working in multicultural environments, I’ve learned the how important approaching therapy with openness, humility, and curiosity is. I understand that every person’s cultural background and lived experience shape how they experience distress, relationships, and healing. I examine my own biases, seek to understand each client and aim to create a therapeutic space where clients feel respected, safe, and genuinely understood.

In addition to my clinical training, I hold a certificate in Biblical Studies, which has helped me better understand and support clients navigating OCD and related concerns within the context of their faith and values.
