Christina Pascarzi, PsyD
Clinical Psychologist, Counseling on Piedmont
Narrative of Services:
I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to help you decrease your anxiety. I also use mindfulness-based interventions to increase your awareness of anxiety triggers so you can maintain your progress and prevent relapses after our work has ended.
I have been told that I am warm, supportive, and knowledgeable. I have helped many clients overcome anxiety by providing individual therapy, group therapy and educational classes on coping with anxiety. I am also a member of the International OCD Foundation and have received advanced training to effectively treat OCD.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in treating anxiety-related disorders including obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and specific phobias. I also work with people who have difficulty managing stress and who want to develop healthy, effective tools to manage it. If you are reading my profile, it’s likely that your anxiety or stress has become overwhelming and is interfering in one or more areas of your life. I will help you overcome anxiety by teaching you to notice the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that perpetuate it and how to respond to yourself differently.
