Narrative of Services:

I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with individuals navigating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, such as hoarding disorder and specific phobias (such as blood phobia). Through an intensive format in which we meet three times per week for approximately five weeks and use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we take a curious, intentional approach to facing the very things that feel uncomfortable or uncertain.

Training Description:

I have been treating OCD for approximately five years with extensive training in an Intensive Outpatient Program setting at the University of Florida’s OCD, Anxiety, & Related Disorders Treatment Program, a leading clinical program for the evaluation and treatment in the southeastern United States. There I specialized in treating perinatal OCD and hoarding disorder. At Penn State University, I adapted OCD treatment to fit a brief model when working with college students, integrating ERP with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Diversity Statement:

I am passionate about working with diverse individuals and graduated from the University of Florida’s doctoral program in Counseling Psychology, which emphasized the importance of social justice and multiculturally competent care. My research focused on enhancing the well-being of Black college students and improving health-related outcomes for Black women and elderly Black folks. I can provide therapy in Spanish. Finally, in my full-time role as Sexual and Gender Diverse Care Coordinator at Penn State University, I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ college students and am passionate about life-enhancing care for all.
