I attended in-depth by-weekly CBT training by a senior Psychologist specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders, a diplomate of ACT from 2005 to 2012. Since then I am routinely engaged in continuous education in OCD and participate in discussions on ACT listserve and in an OCD group with other OCD therapists in North America. I am a Diplomate and a credentialing committee member of the ACT. Have applied to attend BTTI in Toronto in May 2017.
Race/Ethnicity: White, Caucasian, or European American
The practice can definitely be described as multicultural. In addition to Caucasian clients, we serve a great deal of Middle Eastern clients, including Arab and Israeli patients, Asian, Eastern European and South American clients.
I attended several multicultural trainings while working at a community agency that served various populations. I also myself lived approximately each thrid of my life in three different countries. Additionally, other therapists working under my supervision at our clinic and treating OCD come from various cultural backgrounds.
