Rachel Rose LMFT
Rachel Rose, LMFT, specializes in treating OCD and anxiety in children, teens, and adults, with over 50% of her clients seeking support for OCD. She uses Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) along with other evidence-based approaches, including CBT, I-CBT, ACT, and DBT-informed care. Rachel offers telehealth in California and Utah and integrates developmental and attachment-informed approaches. Her experience includes outpatient and intensive settings, and she is dedicated to helping clients and families navigate OCD with confidence.
I also treat Trauma/PTSD and Depression utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) methods.
Rachel Rose, LMFT, received specialized training in OCD and anxiety under the Research Director at OCD & Anxiety Centers (formally known at The OCD & Anxiety Treatment Center). She worked in the intensive outpatient program (IOP) for two years, providing treatment for OCD while receiving ongoing supervision and consultation. In 2023, Rachel attended the IOCDF Conference in San Francisco for continuing education and co-presented a seminar to elementary-aged children using bibliotherapy and play therapy to support understanding and coping with OCD.
Rachel Rose, LMFT, has extensive experience working with members of the LDS/Mormon community and offers culturally sensitive, affirming care. She understands the unique values, family dynamics, and spiritual concerns that may arise in therapy and works collaboratively to honor clients’ beliefs while addressing mental health needs. Rachel integrates evidence-based treatments with a respectful, client-centered approach to support meaningful progress.
Rachel Rose, LMFT, has completed specialized training in culturally competent care, including the Clinical Foundations Course for treating LGBTQ+ clients with Andres Larios Brown, LMFT, and a course on Ethical Guidelines for Mental Health Providers Serving LGBTQIA+ Communities. She also presented on supporting gender euphoria in tweens using play therapy at the 2023 APT Conference. Rachel is a member of the LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah, where she engages in ongoing monthly trainings and continuing education focused on affirming, inclusive care.
