Narrative of Services:

My practice focuses on the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. Approximately half of my practice is composed of individuals with OCD, BDD, and/or hoarding disorder. I use exposure and response prevention (ERP) and also integrate the mindfulness-based treatment, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to engage in exposure-based treatment grounded in values-based goals.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I primarily use an acceptance and commitment therapy and exposure-based models (e.g., ERP) to treat OCD and co-occurring disorders.

Training Description:

I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and am a clinical psychologist at the Young Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Program through Brown University Health. I have treated children, adolescents, and adults with OCD since 2015. I trained in an OCD intensive outpatient program through the University of Pittsburgh and have seen individuals with OCD and/or OCD Spectrum disorders since then. I have attended multiple trainings integrating OCD and ERP for both youth and adults.

Diversity Statement:

I am committed to providing therapy that is respectful, inclusive, and affirming of each client’s cultural background and their life experience. I have a significant experience in working with individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+.
