Narrative of Services:

I offer telehealth therapy throughout New York State via Rossi Mental Health Counseling PLLC, with approximately 60% of my practice focused on OCD and OC-related disorders. I specialize in treating adults across a wide range of OCD subtypes and related conditions including contamination, harm, scrupulosity, ROCD, Pure O, BFRBs, hoarding, and phobias. I also treat trauma using EMDR, as I believe OCD and trauma are deeply connected and most effectively treated together. Currently accepting waitlist inquiries for new clients beginning Fall 2026.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to treating OCD-spectrum disorders, I work with individuals with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trauma. I use an integrated treatment approach that blends aspects from multiple therapeutic interventions to ensure that treatment focuses on the goals and needs of each individual.

Training Description:

I have been treating OCD and OC-related disorders since 2014, with over a decade of clinical experience. My specialized training includes intensive study of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), with a particular focus on ICBT for clients with overvalued ideation and distorted reasoning. I have completed EMDR training for trauma treatment and regularly participate in OCD-focused continuing education, consultation, and peer supervision. I am an active member of the IOCDF community and am committed to staying current with emerging research and evidence-based practices in OCD treatment.

Diversity Statement:

My practice welcomes adults of all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. I am committed to creating a therapy space where clients feel genuinely seen and respected as whole people. I have experience working with clients across a range of cultural, religious, and community contexts, including clients for whom scrupulosity OCD intersects deeply with their faith and moral values. I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client’s unique identity and lived experience while delivering evidence-based OCD treatment.

My clinical training and continuing education have included coursework and supervision in culturally competent care, with attention to how culture, identity, and community shape the presentation and experience of OCD. I have worked with clients from diverse racial, ethnic, religious, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds throughout my career. I am committed to ongoing learning in this area and approach every client with humility, curiosity, and a genuine interest in understanding their full cultural context as part of whole-person treatment.
