Narrative of Services:

I specialize in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). The majority of my clinical work is dedicated to OCD and related conditions, including panic, health anxiety, and social anxiety. Treatment is structured, collaborative, and focused on reducing compulsions, targeting avoidance, and helping clients build confidence managing anxiety independently.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

When OCD and anxiety co-occur, I use ERP to target shared maintenance patterns such as avoidance, reassurance-seeking, and intolerance of uncertainty. Treatment includes both situational and interoceptive exposures tailored to symptoms like panic, social anxiety, and health anxiety. Clients learn to respond differently to distress rather than eliminate it. Sessions are structured and collaborative, with an emphasis on practicing skills between sessions to build confidence and independence over time.

Training Description:

I am an LCSW (IL) and LISW-S (OH) with over 10 years of clinical experience, specializing in OCD and anxiety treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) since 2021. I have provided ERP in outpatient and higher levels of care (PHP/IOP) and have received supervision and consultation from clinicians with expertise in OCD. I have experience treating a range of OCD presentations, including intrusive thoughts, contamination, harm, and postpartum themes.

Diversity Statement:

I have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and aim to provide culturally responsive care. I recognize that OCD and anxiety can be shaped by cultural values and lived experiences, and I work collaboratively with clients to ensure ERP is both effective and respectful of their identity and context.

I have received training in cultural competency through my education and ongoing professional development. I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds across school, residential, and outpatient settings.
