The population treated by Upstate Center is primarily OCD impacted or has OCD as a primary diagnosis. 70% OCD, 20% specific anxiety disorders, 10% non PTSD trauma. Co-occurring neurodivergence is present in a guesstimated 40% of the cases. I have treated well over +200 cases of OCD.
We continue to use evidenced based approaches, while assessing and determining the level of impairment the co-occurring diagnosis is causing. Once this is determined, appropriate treatment shifts or supplements are collaborated on with client and woven into care (I.e. DBT, executive function training, mindfulness)
