My practice provides individual psychotherapy grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My practice is focused on the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and actively incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as a primary intervention. I also utilize Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my clinical work. Approximately 70% of my practice is dedicated to individuals experiencing OCD/related disorders. In addition, I treat clients with related disorders (health anxiety, specific phobias, emetophobia, Body dysmorphia, perfectionism.
In addition to OCD I treat health anxiety, specific phobias, emetophobia, Body dysmorphia, perfectionism, generalized anxiety.
I use specialized CBT for each disorder. Treatment is structured and time limited. I have received specialized training for each disorder.
I have completed multiple specialized trainings through the Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy (https://www.centerabt.com/), Beck Institute, MGH Psychiatry, Behavioral Tech, the OCD Training School, and the International OCD Foundation BTTI. I continue to participate in an ongoing OCD-focused consultation group.
I value my clients of every cultural or religious background, and I maintain cultural humility in my work. I welcome clients of any and all beliefs and experiences to my practice.
I continue my multicultural competence development through books, trainings, workshops to advance my awareness and provide the most multicultural competent care possible.
