Narrative of Services:

Dr. Smith offers services to those with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and trauma-related issues. She prioritizes inclusivity and welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities. As a certified PSYPACT provider, she is able to provide telehealth services to clients in 33 states, including Michigan.

Training Description:

Dr. Smith is a licensed psychologist in Michigan and Nevada, specializing in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive and related issues. She gained expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and OCD through training at the University of Nevada, Reno and Utah State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from USU and completed her internship at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System, American Lake. Formerly an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at Western Michigan University, she taught and conducted research before transitioning to private practice. Dr. Smith has been treating clients with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive and related issues since 2013.
