AMK Counseling provides outpatient therapy services for children, adolescent, and adult clients that experiences complex anxiety and OCD. All therapists are trained in ERP and carry individuals with OCD on their caseload. We also have therapist trained in SPACE to provide support to parents. Over 50% of my caseload is individuals with anxiety disorders or OCD, including both children and adults.

I have been working with clients experiencing OCD or other complex anxiety diagnoses for over five years. I engage in regular supervision and training related to this work, including with our practice’s Director of OCD and Complex Anxiety Services.

My work with clients includes interventions and resources from ERP, CBT, ACT and play therapy modalities. I regularly participate in trainings to expand skills in these areas and better conceptualize these diagnoses.

I work actively to explore my biases and work toward cultural humility in my work with clients and multicultural populations. Our practice regularly engages in trainings and forums related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. I explore how intersectionality impacts a client’s experience of the world and may impact their mental health diagnoses. I have attended trainings related to cultural diversity, especially as it relates to the experience of parenting a child in therapy.
