Narrative of Services:

Dr. Stewart maintains a private practice in east Fort Lauderdale where she specializes in evidenced-based treatment for children and adults with anxiety, mood, OCD, and related disorders. She provides Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Habit Reversal Therapy (HRT). Dr. Stewart also incorporates Acceptance & Commitment Therapy & often utilizes the Unified Treatment Protocols, a transdiagnostic treatment approach. Dr. Stewart offers weekly outpatient and intensive treatment options.

Training Description:

Dr. Stewart received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology from Tulane University and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She completed her doctoral internship within NSU’s trauma program. She then completed a specialized two year post-doctoral residency in the child and adult anxiety programs at the University of Miami. Dr. Stewart has spent the last decade in private practice specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. Additionally, she has served as the Clinical Director of the Anxiety Treatment Center at Nova Southeastern University and the Secretary of OCD Central and South Florida.
