Narrative of Services:

Approximately 90% of my practice is dedicated to OCD and related disorders. Over 15 years, I have treated hundreds of individuals with OCD, working across the lifespan with particular specialization in children, adolescents, and religiously observant clients navigating scrupulosity. I also treat perinatal OCD/anxiety and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and offer parent-coaching sessions using the SPACE model. My approach integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supplemented by CBT and mindfulness-based behavior therapy — tailored to each client’s developmental stage, values, and needs.

Training Description:

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology (La Salle University, 2012) and am licensed as an LMHC/LPC in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, with 15 years in practice. In April 2026, I completed the IOCDF’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), with a pediatric focus. My core modalities are ERP and ACT, supplemented by CBT and mindfulness-based behavior therapy. I regularly consult and train with OCD specialists to refine assessment and treatment across presentations including contamination, harm, scrupulosity, perinatal OCD, and mental compulsions.

Diversity Statement:

I approach all clinical work through a cultural humility lens, recognizing that religious, cultural, and identity-based context shapes how OCD and anxiety present and how treatment should be tailored. I have specific experience working with Orthodox Jewish clients, observant Muslim and Christian clients navigating scrupulosity, and LGBTQ+ individuals, providing affirming care. I also work with Spanish-speaking clients. I continually seek training to better serve clients across diverse religious, cultural, and identity backgrounds.
