Training Description:

I am a Licensed Psychologist in private practice. I have been working with clients with OCD for the past 8 years. I completed my doctoral degree at St. Louis University and I completed my internship and fellowship at the St. Louis VA Medical Center. I have received extensive training in evidenced based treatments for anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders, eating disorders, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder. I am a graduate of the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) and have engaged in regular consultation with OCD experts for the past 5 years.

I have had several professional experiences that have increased my cultural competency and greatly contributed to my work with diverse populations. Specifically, my graduate work at St. Louis University and my doctoral internship and fellowship at the St. Louis VAMC provided me with the opportunity to work with individuals from a wide range of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. I completed a year long rotation in the women’s’ clinic and developed competency in the area of women’s health and mental health treatment. I have also worked with underserved populations and feel strongly about providing effective and evidenced based treatment for all.
