Narrative of Services:
In my current private practice at least 50 % of my patients are children and adolescents with anxiety disorders and at any given time I have roughly 5 pediatric patients with OCD, both obsessive type (including scrupulosity and unwanted sexual and violent thoughts) and compulsive type. I often am referred patients by primary doctors who have heard the patient’s symptoms for the first time so I provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning using evidenced based assessment tools and treatment protocols. I also work actively with parents and families to address accommodation and for psycho-education.
Almost 20 years of clinical experience with pediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings including inpatient, acute residential and outpatient psychotherapy practices. Developed expertise in treating pediatric anxiety through these intensive psychiatric environments with access to experts and in-service and speciality trainings in CBT modalities. In private practice for over 12 years with a focus on treating anxiety in people throughout the life span. Attended countless trainings and actively supervised by senior experts in the field throughout my career.
