Narrative of Services:

Mr. Tucker’s independent practice offers individual CBT, ERP, and ACT for children, teens, and adults suffering from OCD, anxiety, and related conditions. He provides services in office, home, and community settings ranging from once weekly to daily sessions. He takes a family-based approach when treating children and teens by giving parent and caregiver training.

Training Description:

Mr. Tucker is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the field of behavior therapy. As a graduate student at UW-Milwaukee he published research and studied behavioral treatments for OCD Spectrum Disorders. After completing his graduate work, he gained experience giving direct services and overseeing behavior programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Most recently, he served as a therapist at the Bay Area OCD and Anxiety Center for 4.5 years providing CBT and exposure-based treatments.

Diversity Statement:

Mr. Tucker has extensive training and experience working with neurodiverse individuals particularly those on the Autism Spectrum. A substantial proportion of his practice typically includes individuals with ASD needing both minimal and extensive levels of support (ie., low and high functioning Autism).

Mr Tucker’s experience and training working with neurodiversity comes both from working in Applied Behavior Analysis settings since 2010 and in CBT settings since 2014. He regularly participates in training activities for working with neurodiverse individuals as well as providing training and consultation to other professionals in the field.
