Catherine M. Udy BPsych(hons) DPsych(Clin)
Currently, around 80% of my caseload will be clients presenting with OCD or related disorders such as Tic Disorder or Body-Focussed Repetitive Behaviours like Trichotillomania. My clinical experience includes working with a broad range of OCD presentations including sexual and violent obsessions and predominantly mental compulsions.
I treat co-occuring disorders such as mood disorders, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, and Panic symptoms.
Room To Thrive is located on the Northshore of Sydney and seeks to offer psychological services to children and young people. My focus is on meeting the needs of the many families living with OCD. I have been treating OCD for well over 10 years and and during this time have endeavoured to access available training and research to stay up-to-date with evidenced-based treatments for OCD. Many of my clients also live with co-morbid mood or anxiety disorders or ruminative/obsessive thinking and perfectionism.
I treat people from a wide range of cultures and have been trained in working with those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds.
