Narrative of Services:
Dr. Vanegas treats mainly children and adolescents, and a large part of her practice involves treating individuals with OCD and OCD-related disorders.
Dr. Vanegas is a bilingual psychologist that provides treatment to children and adolescents in English and Spanish. She is also well-versed in working with LGBTQ+ populations.
Training Description:
Dr. Vanegas completed her residency at Harvard Medical School’s McLean Hospital treating children and adolescents with an array of disorders. While there, she specialized in the treatment of OCD and OCD-related disorders. She received extensive training in the use of ERP, CBT, and ACT for the treatment of OCD.
Dr. Vanegas received training in working with diverse populations throughout her clinical training and residency. She strives to provide treatment that is culturally sensitive and geared towards the specific needs of the individual children and adolescents with whom she works.
