Madeline Vaughn LCSW
Psychotherapist
I provide individual therapy with a humanistic and trauma informed lens to support my clients in navigating experiences with OCD, anxiety, perfectionism and life transitions. Most of my clients are professionals navigating their various life roles. Depending on client needs, I am able to utilize ERP and/or ACT based exposure work to support their goals around OCD, anxiety and phobias.
I have experience in treatment of co-occurring disorders, notably substance use with anxiety and OCD. Much of my foundational training, including a post-graduate fellowship was provided within residential and intensive outpatient settings with substance use as a focus. Often, my clients will be navigating co-occurring depression, other anxiety disorders, and body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs).
I have been engaged in training and OCD based work with clients since 2019 and graduated from the IOCDF’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) following completion of case consultation hours. I remain in continuous consultation to support best practices, and my clients’ work in therapy. Additionally, I have training and experience in ACT based exposure work for OCD and anxiety, as well training in the Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment for Skin Picking and Hair Pulling Disorders (ComB).
