Laura Wagner MA, LMHC
I specialize in helping adults, adolescents, and children suffering from anxiety disorders, skin and hair pulling disorders, and OCD using (CBT) Cognitive behavioral therapy and (ERP) Exposure and response prevention therapy.
I have a masters degree from UC-Denver’s CACREP accredited graduate program in counseling psychology and school counseling. I began specializing in anxiety disorders, trichotillomania & OCD in 2010 and continue my education by attending trainings in the field. Some of these recent trainings are: “ERP for OCD, “Diagnosis & txtmnt of adult OCD & Related disorders,” “Neuroscience-informed treatment of anxiety,” “Skin picking & nail biting-related Habits.” When working with children and adolescents with OCD I follow John March’s approach. (John S. March, M.D., M.P.H.)
I work with clients of all races, demographics, and genders. I am a gender affirming therapist.
A very important component of my graduate training in downtown Denver was multicultural issues. I worked with a mix of races at non-profit agencies and in private practice in Seattle, WA. I continue seeing clients of all races in Hawaii and Washington state.
