Narrative of Services:

OCD can consume enormous time and energy through intrusive thoughts, doubt, checking, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, mental reviewing, or attempts to reach complete certainty. I provide adults with structured, active Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) at the center of treatment. Together, we identify the patterns keeping OCD going, develop a thoughtful exposure plan, and practice responding differently to intrusive thoughts and uncertainty without relying on compulsions for relief. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles to help clients move toward the relationships, responsibilities, and experiences that matter to them.

Training Description:

My training included advanced supervision in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), with additional emphasis on integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles into treatment. This training focused on helping clients approach feared situations and uncertainty, reduce compulsive responses, and develop greater willingness to experience discomfort in service of personally meaningful goals. My work emphasizes translating clinical understanding into carefully planned practice, both during and between sessions, so clients can build new responses to intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and uncertainty in daily life.

Diversity Statement:

I am committed to providing inclusive, affirming care for individuals from all backgrounds and identities. OCD and anxiety affect people in diverse ways, and effective therapy must reflect that reality. My work is rooted in respect, curiosity, and cultural awareness — ensuring that every client feels seen, understood, and supported.

At Catalyst Psychology, we believe meaningful change happens when expertise meets empathy. Our goal is to help every client move beyond fear toward a life defined by purpose and possibility.
