Narrative of Services:

The Lindner Center of HOPE provides patient-centered, scientifically-advanced care for individuals suffering with mental illness starting at 11 years of age. The newest state-of-the-science, free-standing mental health center to be built in North America, the Center is a charter member of the National Network of Depression Centers. For adults with OCD and other anxiety disorders, the Center offers outpatient, intensive outpatient, and 28-day residential treatment services. For adolescents, OCD and anxiety treatment is offered through outpatient programs. Treatment for OCD and anxiety conditions is anchored in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with ERP and is combined with medication treatment when appropriate.

Training Description:

I became interested in treating OCD 10 years ago with John March's article "How I Ran OCD Off My Land". In subsequent years I have increased my knowledge of OCD through reading, attending seminars including the IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), and through the generous sharing of the approximately 300 children, adolescents, and adults I have treated. I joined the OCD treatment team at the Lindner Center of HOPE in 2008 to pursue my passion of increasing the availability of good local treatment for OCD.
