Narrative of Services:

I provide outpatient therapy for pre-teens, teens, and adults with OCD, OCD-related disorders, and anxiety disorders. Approximately 60–70% of my caseload consists of individuals with OCD and related concerns, including intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). I work with a variety of OCD presentations, including contamination fears, harm OCD, relationship OCD (ROCD), scrupulosity, health anxiety, perfectionism, and other intrusive thought-based concerns. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients build confidence in handling uncertainty and get back to living the life they want.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat OCD and anxiety disorders that commonly occur together, including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, health anxiety, and perfectionism-related concerns. Treatment is individualized and grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We focus on reducing compulsions and avoidance, building tolerance for uncertainty, and developing more flexible responses to difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations. Care is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to each client’s specific symptoms, goals, and stage of treatment.

Training Description:

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 19 years of clinical experience and 5 years specializing in OCD and anxiety disorders. I completed the International OCD Foundation’s (IOCDF) Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), an intensive training program in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. My experience includes treating OCD, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), panic disorder, and anxiety disorders. I provide evidence-based treatment grounded in CBT and ERP and regularly participate in specialized training, consultation, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in OCD treatment.
