Narrative of Services:
My practice serves children, adolescents and adults, a majority of whom have OCD or a related disorder. I believe in empowering my patients through providing education and a clear understanding of their situation. I utilize Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, specifically Exposure with Response Prevention (CBT-ERP), to help my patients move toward healthier lives. I view treatment as a partnership between clinician and patient, where the patient has active input into their own treatment strategy.
I have been a licensed psychologist since 1996 and my experience/training with OCD dates back to 2006, when a close family member was diagnosed with the disorder. I have attended conferences and workshops presented by the IOCDF including an Advanced Behavior Therapy Training Institute and I am a graduate of the IOCDF’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). I am continually advancing my knowledge through keeping aware of the latest in research and treatment developments. In addition to being a member of the IOCDF, I am a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA).
