Narrative of Services:

The Maryland Anxiety Center treats adolescents and adults on an individual and group basis struggling with anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders from a cognitive behavioral perspective, utilizing Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), The Unified Protocol (UP), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). We offer outpatient and intensive outpatient services and provide treatment in our offices, patients’ homes, and any other environment that triggers distress including malls, cars, bridges, tunnels, and doctors’ offices.

Training Description:

Ms. Woodrow earned her MS in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked in the mental health field since 2011 and interned for more than a year at Adventist HealthCare Behavioral Health & Wellness Services Partial Hospitalization Program in Rockville, Maryland. There, she worked with her patients to address various issues including depression, anxiety, OCD & psychosis. In addition to treating patients on an individual basis, Ms. Woodrow led groups from a cognitive behavior perspective. Since 2016, Ms. Woodrow has worked full-time at The Maryland Anxiety Center, working exclusively with adults struggling with anxiety disorders, OCD, and related disorders.
