Narrative of Services:

I have provided evidence-based treatment for OCD since graduate school (18+ years) and have treated hundreds of people with OCD to date. My practice is also focused on perinatal mental health and pelvic pain/chronic pain; on average about a third of my caseload is individuals with OCD. I also provide EFT couples therapy, and am comfortable providing relationship therapy when one or both members of the couple are also working on in OCD treatment.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Anxiety often co-occurs with OCD. I use a combination of third wave cognitive behavioral therapies (mostly ACT) to supplement Exposure and Response Prevention for co-morbid anxiety.

Training Description:

I have completed graduate training at the University of Florida OCD Program as well as postdoctoral training in OCD treatment at Kaiser Permanente SF Department of Psychiatry. I have been treating patients with OCD for approximately 18 years.

Diversity Statement:

I have personal and professional experience with acculturation and navigating intersectionality and have completed graduate level training in cultural competency at the University of Florida, on internship at the VA Palo Alto, and Residency at Kaiser Permanente.
