Narrative of Services:

I am passionate about helping people who are experiencing thoughts that scare or confuse them, or are engaging in behaviors they feel are getting in the way of their lives. So often, people with OCD feel helpless, and I’m honored to be your guide in taking back control and finding your path to a meaningful life. I currently work in private practice after working in both outpatient and inpatient hospitals for over a decade. My goal is to reserve approximately half of my practice for patients with OCD and/or Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs).

Training Description:

I received training and supervision in the treatment of OCD during my fellowship at VA Boston in 2018. Additionally, I completed a 3-day training at the Center for Anxiety Behavioral Therapy (CABT) in January 2021, which included post-training supervision of cases with the instructors. Most recently, I completed an Advanced Training in OCD at CABT. Throughout my career, I have worked with OCD patients at Bellevue Hospital, the Manhattan VA, and in my private practice. I have a strong background in CBT approaches, and am currently receiving training and consultation in the treatment of BFRBs.

Diversity Statement:

I offer individual therapy for adults ages 18+.

I offer culturally-responsive individual therapy, taking into account the unique cultural contexts that have shaped my patients’ lives.

I am honored to offer a safe and non-judgmental environment for people of all gender identities, sexual orientations and family structures. I practice anti-racism and anti-oppression, and am BIPOC-allied.

I am proudly LGBTQIA+-affirming, and held the position of LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinator at the Manhattan VA 2022-2024.
