Approximately 40% of my practice is dedicated to the treatment of OCD and related disorders. I have provided evidence-based treatment, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), to individuals with OCD and related conditions (including Social OCD, co-occurring anxiety disorders, and other OCD-spectrum presentations).
My practice specializes in OCD and related disorders, offering individual therapy, a dedicated treatment group, and an integrated CBT/ERP approach for clients managing OCD alongside co-occurring conditions such as anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders.I stay current with best-practice ERP protocols through ongoing training and consultation, and structure treatment around each client’s specific goals.
I take an integrated CBT/ERP approach when OCD co-occurs with anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, eating disorders, or tics/Tourette’s. Rather than treating each condition in isolation, I adapt exposure and response prevention within the same treatment framework, addressing how symptoms interact and reinforce one another. For clients with ADHD or ASD, I adjust pacing, structure, and psychoeducation to fit their processing style.
I have over 15 years of experience treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders. I am Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist through the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, reflecting demonstrated expertise in evidence-based CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). My training includes intensive CBT instruction at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in Philadelphia. I continue to pursue ongoing training and consultation to stay current with best practices, and I integrate this specialized training into individual and group treatment for OCD and related conditions.
At YCBT, we are committed to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care to a diverse range of clients. We approach each client’s identity, background, and lived experience as central to effective treatment, not separate from it, and we continually work to build our cultural competence through ongoing training and consultation. We strive to create a practice where clients of all racial, ethnic, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds feel seen, respected, and understood as we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

Description: This group uses CBT and exposure-based techniques to help members build confidence in social situations. Members practice structured exposures both in and between sessions in a small, supportive group setting.
