Vision and Mission of the Pediatric OCD SIG
The Pediatric OCD SIG is dedicated to increasing awareness, understanding, and support for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in children and adolescents. This group is intended for professionals who currently work with—or are interested in working with—pediatric populations in clinical or research settings.
The SIG aims to:
-
Explore and expand understanding of the developmental trajectory and psychopathology of pediatric OCD, including risk and protective factors.
-
Improve professional access to the latest research findings and best practices for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of OCD in youth.
-
Create space for meaningful collaboration, consultation, and support among clinicians and researchers who specialize in pediatric OCD.
