Parents of Children with OCD Support Group

Parents of Children with OCD Support Group (Santa Clarita Valley) is an in-person support group for parents/guardians/significant caregivers of children and teens who suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Facilitated by volunteers, one of whom is a licensed psychologist who specializes in treating OCD, the group is a place where those caring for a child with OCD can discuss the challenges and triumphs of raising a child with OCD. It is a place to learn new skills and information and reinforce and share what participants have already learned. Above all, it is a place to connect with other caregivers with similar experiences. The group currently meets monthly for 1 ½ hours at each meeting. Support group members strive to stay connected between meetings for ongoing support.
