Twin Cities OCD Support Group
Meeting Information:
Twin Cities OCD Support Group serves those dealing with and those living with someone having obsessive-compulsive disorder in its varied forms in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs of Minnesota. While adults usually attend our group, we have had members as young as 17 years of age. We have in-person meetings once a month and impromptu meetings when members want them. We are currently discussing restarting online meetings if there is enough demand. Please see our public website for more information.
Usually, we give each participant the chance to check-in for about 5 minutes uninterrupted from comments to disclose what information they want about how OCD and related difficulties are impacting them. After everyone who wants to check-in has done so, then whatever discussion related to check-in and other matters pertaining to OCD are brought up. If you have to come late to the meeting, please let members complete their check-in before bringing up matters for discussion. If the discussion portion has started, it will be temporarily tabled after a short time to give any latecomers a chance to check-in if they want and then the discussion can continue after.
The wearing of masks is strongly encouraged as some of our members could have their health severely impacted should they contract COVID. The library has masks at the entrance should you forget to bring one.
