Description:
Navigating childhood with OCD can feel overwhelming at times. Children with OCD often report feeling alone and misunderstood. Approximately 1 in 40 adults in the United States will meet diagnostic criteria for obsessive-compulsive disorder during their lifetime and twenty-five percent of those with OCD will experience symptoms before age 14. Early intervention is important; however, many people with OCD suffer for years before receiving treatment.
