Description:
This support group is designed to assist sufferers of OCD and OC-Related Disorders in the rehabilitation process. Individuals with dual diagnosis are also welcome. Tenets of Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness are emphasized as effective coping mechanisms. The group is run by Jordan Heide, Certified Counselor (CC), Certified Peer Counselor (CPC), Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT), Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC), Registered Nursing Assistant (NAR).
