Challenge the stigma surrounding OCD and Why This Matters To Your Audience!
My personal journey as a [parent of someone with OCD, person with OCD] has had a profound impact on my life and illuminated the misconceptions and stigma of a mental health disorder that affects a significant portion of the population and you audience. Research estimates 2.3% globally, which translates to over 184 Million globally and 7.6 Million in the US.
By providing accurate information especially during the holiday season when the term OCD is often misused, we hope to empower individuals to seek help without the fear of stigma and foster inclusive and compassionate conversations around mental health.
